Some Background

Many of our clients have come to find us after hosting their sites with one of the larger providers in South Africa and nothing makes us smile more to know that we have satisfied their requirements for good service. Kalk Bay Interactive started as a small word-of-mouth clientele based in and around the Kalk Bay community itself and we've kept this dynamic community spirit and sincerely care about the success and wellbeing of our clients. The Story: Robin moved to Kalk Bay Interactive after becoming quite fed up with the variable bandwidth and hosting charges from his previous hosting company who were geared towards corporate clients and charged corporate rates. After quite a few months of haggling with them over the 'bill' he decided to move his site onto our server.
Behind the Scenes: Running ASP on a Windows 2000 Server with Access and more, lots of large MP3's and a section with online CD and book sales.

The Story: Anton is an inventor and original thinker of note. I've seen many of his brilliant concepts take flight and his combination of a talented programmer with creative intelligence is very rare and produces such as this site. It seems to have taken the local fishing and boating communities by storm as they enjoy tidal predictions in a graphical way never done before.
Technical: Running on Linux using PHP to generate on the fly graphs base on the date and the location selected. ADFI will be redeveloping the site in JSP with Java Servlets shortly.
