NETWORK AND DATACENTRE
Our servers are located in the UUNET datacenter in Newlands (a suburb of Cape Town). We are connected to UUNet's backbone via a redundant 100MBit fiber link. Our servers are served by a UPS and a diesel backup generator. Within the datacenter we have an automated fire suppression system as well as a 90 minute fire-rated single entrance door. The building maintains high security at all times. All our servers are monitored 24/7/365 with email and SMS notifications to our network engineers.

BACKUP

We perform daily incremental backups on our server and keep a copy of the last 2 weeks of backups should you need to restore from an accidental deletion. Contact support should you need to restore a file or site from the latest backup.

SERVER TECHNOLOGY

Our servers are constantly fine-tuned and upgraded as per your needs. We make sure that they are always configured for maximum reliability and performance. Presently we run Redhat Linux on an AMD 1600+ server with 512MB RAM and a 40GB 7200rpm HDD.
